Hennessy's Voted Best Boston Irish Pub (6 years in a row!) by the Improper Bostonian and the AOL City Guide!

From Jack Morris, editor of AOL City Guide

"If it's one thing Boston is well known for, it's the Irish pubs and Hennessy's lives up to the reputation by giving Faneuil Hall tourists and weekend revelers an authentic taste of the Emerald Isle. Sidewalk windows open for provide prime time people watching in the summer and the coal fireplace, exposed wooden beams and nightly music (ranging from Celtic to bluegrass to karaoke) provide for a warm atmosphere year round.

Crowds have a tendency to swell on the weekends in this neck of the woods so get there early or expect to fight your way past Red Sox jerseys and "wicked killa" Boston accents to order a pint. But should you choose to drop in during the day on a shopping break, your stomach will thank you. With dishes like Irish beef stew, bangers and mash and Guinness-marinated steak tips on the menu as well as a heavy Irish brogue coming from behind the bar, you might forget what country you're in. -- Jack Morris (Photo: Jack Morris)"
